The pickled onion.
Ian Srivatsav

Somebody help me understand. Some of the greatest cultural achievements and spiritual insights were accomplished by the ancient Moslems. Some of the wisest people I've heard [of], [lesser in recent times], have been Moslems. And then there are the idiots we see on Fitna, and other documentaries, ever-willing to twist the words of a guiding book, but book nonetheless, to their own ends. I don't want to belive that people really have nothing better to do than to live life FOR a religion rather than BY a religion. Who are you, really?

King Abdullah's address to the American audience on the negative stereotype wrongfully branded on Arabs in Palestine. I do agree, even as a layman in Middle Eastern politics, that the US sides with Israel a tad too often to assume the US is being fair, just and all those things it claims to stand for. The question isn't why; the question is who the hell put the US in charge dammit? The rise of Obama was a sign of changing times. I say let the US earn its reputation one more time. Dissolve the superpower theory that has basically locked the world, and the toothless UN in a stalemate for so long.
